eSIM Auto-Refill — Stay Connected Automatically
Auto-Refill ensures you never run out of data during a trip. When your balance gets low, it automatically adds funds using your saved card.
How Auto-Refill Works
- When your balance drops below 20% of your selected refill amount, a refill is triggered automatically
- For example, if your refill amount is $25, a refill triggers when your balance drops below $5
- The selected amount ($10, $25, $50, or $100) is charged to your saved card
- Your eSIM stays connected without interruption
Setting Up Auto-Refill
- Log in at travel.bcengi.com
- Go to your eSIM detail page
- Toggle Balance Auto Refill → ON
- Select your preferred refill amount
- Add a payment method if needed
Controlling Spending
- Daily Limit: Set a maximum number of refills per day. When reached, no more auto-refills occur until the next day.
- No Limit: Refills as needed to keep you connected
- Change amount anytime: Switch between $10, $25, $50, or $100
- Turn off anytime: Toggle Auto-Refill OFF and no automatic charges will occur
When Auto-Refill Is Off
If Auto-Refill is off and your balance reaches $0, your eSIM will stop working until you manually add funds. This is fine if you want full manual control over spending.
If Auto-Refill Fails
The most common reason for a failed auto-refill is a declined card. This can happen if:
- Your card expired
- Insufficient funds on the card
- Your bank flagged the charge as suspicious
- The card was cancelled or replaced
To fix: Go to Settings → Payment Methods in your portal, update your card, and manually add funds to reconnect immediately.
Security
All payment details are stored securely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider. Bcengi does not have access to your credit card details.
