Just Landed — eSIM Not Connecting
You installed your eSIM before your trip, you have landed, and now it will not connect. This is normal — your phone needs a moment to find and register on a local network. Here is what to do.
Quick Fix (90% of cases)
- Turn off Airplane Mode if it is still on from the flight
- Enable Data Roaming for your Bcengi eSIM:
- iPhone: Settings → Cellular → [Bcengi line] → Data Roaming → ON
- Android: Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → [Bcengi] → Data Roaming → ON
- Set Bcengi as your data line:
- iPhone: Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data → select Bcengi
- Android: Settings → SIMs → Mobile Data → Bcengi
- Wait 1–2 minutes — the phone is searching for available networks
If Still Not Connecting After 2 Minutes
- Toggle Airplane Mode ON, wait 15 seconds, then OFF
- This forces a fresh network search
- Wait another minute
If That Does Not Work
- Restart your phone completely (power off, wait 10 seconds, power on)
- After restart, check that Data Roaming is still ON and Bcengi is the data line
- Android users: Check that APN is set to globaldata
Still Not Working?
- Check your balance at travel.bcengi.com — a $0 balance means no connection
- Make sure your phone is carrier-unlocked
- Try setting network selection to Automatic
- Contact support@bcengi.com with your country and device model
