Signal But No Internet — The Fix
If your eSIM shows signal bars (or a carrier name) but web pages will not load and apps cannot connect, the issue is almost certainly your APN settings or data line configuration.
Fix 1: Set the APN to globaldata (Android)
This is the most common fix for this specific problem on Android devices.
- Go to Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → [Bcengi]
- Tap Access Point Names
- If globaldata is listed, select it
- If not, tap Add or the + icon:
- Name: Bcengi
- APN: globaldata
- Leave username, password, and all other fields blank
- Save and make sure it is selected (radio button filled)

Fix 2: Confirm Bcengi Is Your Data Line (iPhone & Android)
- iPhone: Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data → make sure Bcengi is selected, not your physical SIM
- Android: Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → Mobile Data → select Bcengi
Fix 3: Toggle Airplane Mode
- Turn Airplane Mode ON
- Wait 10 seconds
- Turn Airplane Mode OFF
- Wait 30 seconds
Fix 4: iPhone — Reset Network Settings
If the above steps do not work on iPhone:
- Go to Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone → Reset → Reset Network Settings
- This will reset WiFi passwords and cellular settings
- After the reset, go back to Cellular settings and ensure Data Roaming is ON and Bcengi is set as the data line
