Family eSIM Sharing

Setting Up Family eSIMs
Each family member needs their own eSIM installed on their device. From your account at travel.bcengi.com:
- Purchase additional eSIMs — each one gets its own QR code
- Each eSIM can be installed on a different family member's phone
- All eSIMs can be managed from your single account
Transferring Balance Between eSIMs
If one family member runs low while another has plenty, you can transfer balance between eSIMs on your account:
- Log in at travel.bcengi.com
- Go to the eSIM you want to transfer FROM
- Select Transfer Balance
- Choose the destination eSIM and amount
Transfers are instant and there's no fee.
Setting Refill Limits
For kids or family members where you want to control spending, you can set daily auto-refill limits:
- Go to the eSIM's detail page
- Under Auto-Refill Settings, set a Max Refills Per Day limit
- Once the limit is reached, the eSIM won't auto-refill again until the next day
- They can still use any remaining balance — the limit only controls automatic top-ups
This is useful for kids who might stream video or download large files without realizing the data cost.
Monitoring Family Usage
From your account dashboard, you can see:
- Each eSIM's current balance
- Data usage per eSIM
- Which countries each eSIM has been used in
- Auto-refill history and status
Tips for Family Travel
- Install all eSIMs before departure — you need WiFi for installation
- Enable auto-refill on each eSIM so nobody runs out mid-trip
- Set refill limits for kids — prevents surprise charges from video streaming
- One eSIM per device — eSIMs cannot be shared between phones
