Install Your eSIM on Android or Samsung
Android eSIM installation takes just a few minutes. The exact menu names vary by manufacturer, but the process is similar across all brands. Bcengi TravelPass is a pay-as-you-go eSIM — you only pay for data you use, with no bundles, no expiry, and no contracts. One eSIM works in 200+ countries.
Before You Start
- Your phone must support eSIM — most Android phones from 2020 onward do (Samsung Galaxy S20+, Google Pixel 3+, etc.)
- Your device must be carrier-unlocked
- You need an active WiFi or mobile data connection
- Have your QR code ready from your confirmation email or bcengi.com portal
Standard Android (Google Pixel, Motorola, OnePlus, etc.)
- Open Settings
- Tap Network & Internet
- Tap SIMs (or Mobile Network)
- Tap Add eSIM or the + button
- Choose Scan QR code
- Point your camera at the QR code
- Confirm and wait for the profile to download
Samsung Galaxy
Samsung uses different menu names:
- Open Settings
- Tap Connections
- Tap SIM Manager
- Tap Add eSIM
- Select Scan QR code from service provider
- Scan the QR code and follow prompts
If the QR Code Is on Your Phone Screen
- Take a screenshot or save the QR code image to your gallery
- Go to Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → Add eSIM
- Look for an option to load QR code from gallery/photos
After Installation — Essential Settings
- Enable Data Roaming: Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → [Bcengi] → toggle Data Roaming ON
- Set Bcengi as data SIM: In the same SIM settings, set Bcengi as your Mobile Data SIM
- Check APN settings: Go to Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → [Bcengi] → Access Point Names
- If you see globaldata, internet, or ims already selected — you are all set
- If no APN is configured, create a new one: Name = Bcengi, APN = globaldata, leave everything else blank, then save and select it
Samsung-Specific APN Path
Settings → Connections → Mobile Networks → Access Point Names → tap Add → set APN to globaldata.
Activation Time
The eSIM typically activates in 5–10 seconds. If it does not connect immediately, toggle Airplane Mode on and off, wait 30 seconds, then restart your phone if needed.
