Install a Travel eSIM on Your Tablet
Tablets with cellular capability can use eSIM just like phones. This is perfect for travelers who want data on their iPad without tethering to their phone. Bcengi TravelPass is a pay-as-you-go eSIM — you only pay for data you use, with no bundles, no expiry, and no contracts. One eSIM works in 200+ countries.
Compatible iPads
- iPad Pro (3rd generation and newer)
- iPad Air (3rd generation and newer)
- iPad (7th generation and newer)
- iPad mini (5th generation and newer)
Important: Only the WiFi + Cellular models support eSIM. WiFi-only iPads do not have cellular capability.

- Open Settings
- Tap Cellular Data (or Mobile Data)
- Tap Add eSIM or Set Up Cellular
- Choose Use QR Code
- Scan the QR code from your Bcengi account

Android Tablets

- Tap Add eSIM
- Scan the QR code
- Enable Data Roaming and set APN to globaldata if needed
Things to Know
- Your tablet does not need a phone number — eSIM provides data only, which is exactly what tablets need
- You can use the same Bcengi account across multiple devices by purchasing separate eSIMs for each
- iPad eSIM settings are under Cellular Data, not Cellular like on iPhone
