How to Transfer eSIM to a New Phone

Transfer Your eSIM to a New Phone

When you get a new phone, your Bcengi eSIM needs to be transferred. Your balance is tied to your account, not to the eSIM profile, so no money is ever lost during a transfer.

How It Works

An eSIM profile is tied to one device at a time. Transferring requires our support team to issue a new eSIM profile for your new phone. Your balance, usage history, and account settings remain unchanged.

Step 1: Request a New eSIM From Support

Before doing anything on your phones, contact support to initiate the transfer. Email support@bcengi.com with:

  • Your account email
  • Your new phone model (e.g., iPhone 16 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S25)
  • A brief note: "eSIM transfer to new device"

Our team will issue a new eSIM profile and send you a new QR code, usually within one business day.

Step 2: Install the New eSIM on Your New Phone

  1. Make sure your new phone is eSIM-compatible and carrier-unlocked
  2. Connect to Wi-Fi
  3. Scan the QR code we sent
  4. Enable Data Roaming and set Bcengi as your data line
  5. Android: Set APN to globaldata if needed

Step 3: Remove the Old eSIM From Your Previous Phone

Once the new eSIM is working on your new phone, remove the old profile from your previous phone to keep things tidy.

iPhone

  1. Go to Settings → Cellular
  2. Tap on your Bcengi eSIM line
  3. Tap Remove eSIM (or Delete eSIM)
  4. Confirm removal

Android / Samsung

  1. Go to Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs (Samsung: Connections → SIM Manager)
  2. Select the Bcengi eSIM
  3. Tap Delete or Remove
  4. Confirm
