How to Transfer eSIM to a New Phone

Transfer Your eSIM to a New Phone

When you get a new phone, your Bcengi eSIM needs to be transferred. Your balance is tied to your account, not the eSIM profile, so no money is ever lost during a transfer.

How It Works

An eSIM profile is tied to one device at a time. To move it to a new phone, the old profile must be released and a new one installed on the new device. Your balance, usage history, and account settings remain unchanged.

Step 1: Remove the eSIM From Your Old Phone

iPhone

  1. Go to Settings → Cellular
  2. Tap on your Bcengi eSIM line
  3. Tap Remove eSIM (or Delete eSIM)
  4. Confirm removal

Android / Samsung

  1. Go to Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs (Samsung: Connections → SIM Manager)
  2. Select the Bcengi eSIM
  3. Tap Delete or Remove
  4. Confirm

Step 2: Get a New QR Code

  1. Log in at travel.bcengi.com
  2. Go to your eSIM detail page
  3. Click eSIM QR & Info
  4. A new QR code will be generated for your new device

If the portal does not show a new QR code, contact support@bcengi.com and request a device transfer. Include your account email and new phone model.

Step 3: Install on Your New Phone

  1. Make sure your new phone is eSIM-compatible and carrier-unlocked
  2. Connect to WiFi
  3. Scan the QR code
  4. Enable Data Roaming and set Bcengi as your data line
  5. Android: Set APN to globaldata if needed

Bcengi TravelPass is a pay-as-you-go eSIM — you only pay for data you use, with no bundles, no expiry, and no contracts. One eSIM works in 200+ countries.
