How Bcengi Billing Works
Bcengi billing is simple and transparent. Here is everything you need to know about how charges work.
The Basics
- You pre-load balance onto your account ($10, $25, $50, or $100)
- As you use data, your balance decreases in real time
- Charges are based on your actual data consumption per kilobyte
- Rates vary by country — see all rates at bcengi.com/travelpass/pricing
How Charges Are Calculated
- Rates are shown per GB for easy comparison
- Actual billing is per KB — you only pay for exactly what you use
- If you use 500 MB in a $1.26/GB country, you pay ~$0.63
- There is no rounding up to the nearest GB
Multi-Country Trips
When you travel between countries, rates change automatically. Your usage in each country is charged at that country's rate. You can see a per-country breakdown in your portal.
Auto-Refill Charges
- If Auto-Refill is ON, your saved card is charged when your balance drops below 20% of your refill amount
- Charges appear on your card statement from Bcengi
- You can set a daily limit on auto-refills to control spending
No Hidden Fees
- No activation fee
- No monthly subscription
- No contract or commitment
- No fees for having the eSIM installed but not using data
- No fees for pausing or resuming service
