Chile: Entel, Movistar and WOM
- Entel: without a roaming allowance in the plan, data in the US and Spain needs a bundle. On plans, the 500 MB bundle costs CLP 3,990 (US$4.06), the 2 GB one CLP 14,990 (US$15.24) and the 5 GB one CLP 34,990 (US$35.56); on prepaid, CLP 4,990 (US$5.07), CLP 16,990 (US$17.27) and CLP 39,990 (US$40.65). More than one bundle of the same kind can be bought, and the data lasts 30 days from first use.
- With Entel, a week with 1.38 GB takes three 500 MB bundles: CLP 11,970 (US$12.17) on a plan and CLP 14,970 (US$15.22) on prepaid. For 6.50 GB, the bundles cost at least CLP 46,960 (US$47.73) on a plan and CLP 54,960 (US$55.86) on prepaid.
- If you pick Entel's 2 GB bundle instead, the trip uses 1.38 GB, so nearly a third of what you paid for is left unused.
